Word-for-word replies
Reply A, to fix a time: "Of course. Would Thursday morning or Friday afternoon suit you better?"
Reply B, if they are in a hurry: "No problem. I will send a calendar invite for ten minutes on Thursday. Tell me if the time is wrong."
Do
- Offer two times, not an open question.
- Send the invite within five minutes.
- Name the topic in the invite title.
See inside
Avoid
- Saying "I will try again next week".
- Leaving no note in the CRM.
- Calling at the same time that already failed.
Next step
If they refuse a time, ask for the best day and hour. Call then. Log it in the handoff note style so the next call has context.
